Matthew has worked in Sustainability for over a decade delivering sustainability based solutions in sectors ranging from, Local Authority (public), Corporate (private multi-national), Environmental Consultancy and Small & Medium Sized Enterprises. He joined HSBC in 2005 and has worked in both operational and strategic roles in the UK and now resides in Group Corporate Sustainability.
His role encompasses the facilitation and development of Sustainability based Strategies across key Group functions including Purchasing, Corporate Real Estate, HSBC Technology & Services and Global Banking & Markets, whilst supporting the implementation of both business as usual and innovative programmes to reduce HSBC’s environmental and carbon footprints.
